If you are like me,you probably own an Ozark Trails tent,but did you know they also manufacture Ozark Trails camping equipment? That's right, take care of all your camping needs with Ozark Trails as well as your tent. Because Ozark Trails is a brand sold by Walmart and is manufactured by several different companies you really should read all the reviews you can get your eyes on before purchasing any camping supplies from Walmart.
In this article I will focus mostly on the Ozark Trails camping gear that has great reviews,but there may be some Ozark Trails camping gear that has had mixed reviews also. I truly believe that some of the negative reviews are due to consumers expecting too much from an inexpensive piece of equipment and perhaps expecting them to stand up to a higher level of abuse like the most expensive brands can tolerate.

This rucksack comes in a unisex color and has had terrific reviews by students and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The price is right and comes in at a much cheaper cost than other rucksacks out there. Not a lot of extra features with this rucksack, just plain and functional.
Ozark Trails footwear:
The Ozark Trails hiking boots have mixed reviews but appear to be a great choice for the novice hiker that is not expecting a $20 pair of boots to last years or decades. The Brent model of Ozark Trails hiking boots gets the best reviews and is noted for its extreme comfort. If you are going to buy a pair of these boots you should invest in some insoles to make them super-duper comfy.
Ozark Trails lanterns:
The Ozark Trails fluorescent camping lantern gets the greatest reviews of all, this being a product using "D" batteries that you would most likely use in your flashlights as well. The Ozark Trails propane lantern is also rated very high and is reported to have parts that are interchangeable with Coleman parts.
Ozark trails tents:
As with any other type of Ozark Trails camping gear, you should read lots of reviews on their tents. I personally own one and have not had a single problem with it, but others have reported many problems with theirs, perhaps they aren't as experienced with wet weather camping as me, or perhaps they purchased their tent expecting too much for the price. The way I look at these reviews is with a grain of salt because no inexpensive tent will tolerate heavy winds and rain without some leakage.
If you find yourself in a situation where a rainstorm is eminent and all you have is an Ozark Trails tent, make sure you use a footprint, if you have a tarp handy you can double your waterproofing by covering your tent, use an airbed or foam pad, and make sure nothing is touching the walls of the tent that will induce seepage. I expect my Ozark Trails tent to stand up to summertime use, maybe a couple camp outs in the spring or fall also,but not winter use. Stick to these expectations and I think you will be very happy with your Ozark Trails tent.

Ozark Trails warm weather +35degree sleeping bags and sleeping pads are both rated very high by consumers and should be considered a good buy for the price. However some buyers have reported trouble with the sleeping bag zippers breaking very easily, so be sure to keep gentle in mind when zipping or unzipping your Ozark Trails sleeping bag.
In conclusion, Ozark Trails camping gear can be a very good buy for the frugal consumer that just wants to experience the pleasures of camping, but is not interested in extreme weather camping.
