Different Styles of Family Geared Ozark Trail Tents

Ozark Trail tents has built a reputation with camping enthusiasts of all ages of being one of the most affordable types of tents that are easy to set up and use. There is a wide variety of tents to fit different needs. I am going to discuss and review four of the more popular styles of tents so that you can have a better understanding of just what makes each of these tents special.

Ozark Trail 9’ x 9’ 5-Person Easy-Set Dome Tent

To start off, I would like to talk about the Ozark Trail 9’ x 9’ 5-Person Easy-Set Dome tent. There a few key features that you should be aware of. This tent is quite spacious and provides ample room for up to five adults plus storage for camping equipment. This tent comes with the EZ Frame system which provides for easy setup and takedown of the tent. As you read more of this review, keep in mind that all of the Ozark Trail tents are manufactured with the GoBeDry weatherproof system. The patented GoBeDry weatherproof system provides protection for you and your family members when it comes to dealing with inclement weather.

The last thing you want to experience is getting wet while you are inside your tent trying to sleep! In addition to the GoBeDry system, the previously mentioned DryTek system adds additional protection to ensure that you and your family are kept dry by preventing rain from soaking into the fabric of the tent.

To take it a step further, this tent has a floor that is designed to elevate the seams of the tent to keep away from the water.  After all, you never know what mother nature has in store for you when you go on a camping trip. There are two windows, a screened roof and walls that allow for exceptional ventilation inside the tent. This can be especially useful if you are camping in humid weather.

Ozark Trail 14'x12' 7-Person Family Tent with Porch

The next family tent that I am going to discuss is the Ozark Trail 14’ x 12’ 7-Person Family Tent with Porch. This tent sleeps 6-7 adults and has a divider curtain which allows for you to sanction the tent off into two separate enclosed rooms for privacy. If you don’t need the separate room, you can tie back the screen in order to create one large room. As far as Ozark Trail tents are concerned, the divider can be a benefit for many families.

The fabric of the tent is made of DryTanium which repels moisture and the floor of the tent is designed to also keep the water away from the fabric. In addition, a DryGuard skirt is included to deflect rain from the floor seams and stake loops. This tent will definitely keep your whole family dry and comfortable in wet weather conditions.

Ventilation is not an issue with this style of tent as there are four windows and several large mesh roof panels. On any camping trip, insects can be a potential problem. This is one of the many styles of Ozark Trail tents that comes with a screen that repels even the smallest of insects. You will be able to sleep peacefully while being bug-free. In addition to these benefits that I have mentioned, the doors for the front screen room and for the main room are both large Dutch D-style doors. These doors provide ample space to enter and leave the tent.

Ozark Trail 16' x 10.5' 6-Person Family Dome Tent

The next tent up for discussion is the Ozark Trail 16’ x 10.5’ 6-Person Family Dome Tent. Just as the other Ozark Trail tents that were previously mentioned, this style of tent features the GoBeDry system. This dome tent will keep you and your family protected in most any type of weather conditions. The DryTek fabric repels moisture with a protective coating and the DryGuard skirt deflects rain from soaking into the floor seams and stake loops of the tent.

In addition, the floor is designed with the DryLock system which prevents leakage and blocks moisture from entering the tent. As far as storage space is concerned, this style of Ozark Trail tent comes with two storage lockers for your camping gear. This feature comes in handy as many people attempt to keep the inside of their Ozark trail tents as neat and tidy as possible. This tent also has an insect-repellent screen to keep out unwanted guests. As far as ventilation is concerned, there are three large windows inside of this tent as well as large roof panels.

Ozark Trail 20' x 14' 10-Person Family Dome Tent

The last style of Ozark Trail tents that I would like to review with you is the Ozark Trail 20’ x 14’ 10-person family dome tent. This is by far the largest tent that has been manufactured to date and is a great asset to have for large families that need plenty of space. This tent sleeps up to 10 adults and includes a 2-room design to offer extra privacy. Even in the worst weather conditions, this tent will live up to your expectations by ensuring a snug, dry experience due to advanced GoBeDry technology.

Similar to the other tents that were previously mentioned, this tent also includes the DryGuard skirt fabric as well as the DryLock sealed floor seams. The DryFloor tub design elevates the floor seams to keep away from water and the DryTek fabric repels moisture with a protective coating. As you can see, Ozark Trail tents are made to ensure that you and your family will remain warm and dry just in case you experience a rainstorm. This tent has five large windows and roof vents for excellent air-flow through the inside of the tent.

All of these Ozark trail tents that I have mentioned have several features in common. I hope you have a better understanding of what benefits and features these tents have to offer. In order to pick the correct tent for your needs, simply do your research and if you have any questions, make sure that you ask before you make your final decision.
